چکیده

Experimental process The one-pot DKR of racemic 1-PE was carried out in a glass reactor with a magnetic stirring under microwave irradiation at a desired temperature. Typically, racemic 1-PE (0.10-0.4 mmol) and acyl donor (0.20-0.8 mmol) were firstly added into n-hexane (4.0 mL). And then, 20 mg of the core-shell bi-functional catalysts (Hβ-PDDA@CALB)MSs were added into the above-mentioned reaction mixture. The reaction mixture was irradiated by microwave under magnetic stirring at 50-60 o C for a desired time. For mixed catalyst system, 0.2 mmol racemic 1-PE and 0.4 mmol acyl donor were firstly added into n-hexane (4.0 mL). And then, 20 mg of Hβ-ZMSs and 10 mg of Novozym®435 were added into the above-mentioned reaction mixture. The reaction mixture was irradiated by microwave under magnetic stirring at 50 o C for a desired time. The DKR processes of 1-(4-bromophenyl)-ethanol and 1-(p-tolyl) ethanol catalyzed by (Hβ-PDDA@CALB)MSs and mixed catalysts using VA as acyl donor are the same as those of 1-PE at 50 o C.

Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue from aqueous solution using Fe3O4@SiO2@CeO2 core-shell magnetic nanostructure as an effective catalyst

In the present study, the core-shell magnetic nanostructure of Fe3O4@SiO2@CeO2 was synthesized to investigate its use as an effective photocatalyst for methylene blue removal. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The photocatalytic activity for the Fe3O4@SiO2@CeO2 core-shell magneti...

Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering of Crystal Violet with Low Concentrations Using Self-Assembled Silver and Gold-Silver Core-Shell Nanoparticles

The active substrates in surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy were prepared through self-assembly of nanoparticles on functionalized glasses. Colloidal silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were prepared chemically in two different sizes by reduction of AgNO3 using trisodium citrate and sodium borohydride. Gold–silver core–shell nanoparticles were also prepared to compare between the o...

Supported Core@Shell Electrocatalysts for Fuel Cells: Close Encounter with Reality

Core@shell electrocatalysts for fuel cells have the advantages of a high utilization of Pt and the modification of its electronic structures toward enhancement of the activities. In this study, we suggest both a theoretical background for the design of highly active and stable core@shell/C and a novel facile synthetic strategy for their preparation. Using density functional theory calculations ...

Aqueous phase homogeneous catalysis using core–shell nanoreactors: Application to rhodium-catalyzed hydroformylation of 1-octene

High catalytic activity (turnover frequencies up to 700 h) was achieved using new triphenylphosphinefunctionalized core cross-linked micelles, TPP@CCM, as nanoreactors and [Rh(acac)(CO)2] as catalyst precursor for the aqueous biphasic hydroformylation of 1-octene. While the hydrophobic core of the polymer offers an adequate environment for the catalytic reaction, its hydrophilic shell confines ...
